FAQ
Amara Skin Clinic FAQ — Salisbury
1. What is CACI Synergy and how does it work?
CACI Synergy is an advanced, non-surgical facial treatment that uses SPED® microcurrent technology and LED light therapy to lift, tone, and rejuvenate facial muscles. It improves skin elasticity, reduces fine lines, and restores a youthful contour without downtime.
2. How often should I have a CACI?
For optimal results most clients benefit from 2 sessions per week for the initial course followed by monthly maintenance. During your consultation we'll design a plan tailored to your skins needs.
3. What are Medik8 facials and who are they for?
Medik8 professional facials use pharmaceutical-grade actives like vitamin A, vitamin C, peptides, and AHA/BHA acids to target skin concerns such as ageing, congestion, dullness, redness, or dehydration. They are fully customised for all skin types and ages.
4. What is Dermalux LED Phototherapy and can it be combined with other treatments?
Dermalux LED is a clinically proven light therapy that stimulates collagen, reduces inflammation, and accelerates skin repair. It can be added to any facial or CACI treatment to enhance results and provide additional skin health benefits.
5. Is there any downtime with treatments?
All our treatments are non-invasive and require little to no downtime. You can return to your normal activities immediately. Some clients may experience mild redness or tingling, which usually settles quickly.
6. Can these treatments help with specific concerns like fine lines, sagging, or dull skin?
Yes — CACI Synergy targets muscle tone and sagging for a lifted appearance, while Medik8 facials address skin texture, pigmentation, and radiance. Dermalux LED can accelerate healing and improve overall skin quality. Treatments are tailored to each client’s goals.
7. Are your treatments suitable for all skin types?
Absolutely. All treatments at Amara Skin Clinic are tailored to your skin type and concerns. During your consultation, we assess your skin and recommend the best combination of therapies for safe, effective results.
8. How do I book a treatment at Amara Skin Clinic?
You can book your bespoke facial or consultation by phone or email. All sessions are private and personalised — we do not offer online booking for discretion and individualised attention.
